Definitely one of the most immersive itch.io games I've played so far and was pleasantly surprised by the end of it. Jordan, you did your thing with this one.
Genuinely amazing game! After playing broken through I was super excited to see what you would do next, and you didn't disappoint at all! Amazing execution, great pacing, and the absolute sense of dread during it all was fantastic! Well Done!
I can tell a lot of time and effort went into this. This is a solid hour long experience, and it blows me away that you're offering this for free. Great work!
However, I'm not sure I'd categorize this as horror. Imo it's more of a drama/mystery with some scenes of gore here and there.
it gave meaning to my life, there was a lot of drama, it was very depressing, the end was nice, I hope the 2nd sequel comes out, I'll continue with it, I'm following good work
I needed something like this after all the 5 minute horror games on itch. This game felt so long to the point were it felt like a movie or a big title. This game is really good and I almost cried at the end. Good Job.
A tail about a detective you has lost his wife, with his life seemingly spiraling out of control, he will have to uncover who is behind all these mysterious killings or DIE trying....
Really love this game. Amazing story and overall great voice acting. I recorded the whole thing and I am still working on the final piece. Here's one of the many shorts I got.
The Final Pin presents itself and plays like one of those dour serial killer dramas you'd know from the 90ies, like Se7en, Zodiac or its ilk, and for the most part plays that part totally seriously.
What gameplay there is is sparingly used, and seems to be more there to make you feel each grueling moment of the job as the protagonist chases a mysterious killer. Menial, dirty work that needs to get done, but doesn't feel nice to do, yet keeps you motivated to see it through to the end because you need to know the truth.
I did have my problems with the sewer segment, as detailed in the video itself, but overall, The Final pin was a great playthrough, and I highly recommend it for those looking for a more dour, brooding brand of horror than your average escape room haunted house - much as I love the latter, too.
It was damn good. That's straight up serious. I did this review for 2 weeks and it was worth it. After all, such games on itch.io come out extremely infrequently, especially with such a duration. Although this is horror, there are not many scary moments. But damn it, it doesn’t matter at all, because the game takes its frightening and oppressive atmosphere of hopelessness into which the main character has fallen. And most importantly - this story is extremely realistic. There is no occultism or demons here. Only people, their vices and the problem of priorities - GG put work in the first place. And although he had a good goal, its price was too high. That's what the game does - a damn good story that could be real. And behind such a story you don’t even see any technical jambs. Seriously, I love to look for bugs and flaws in games, but here I just didn’t see them point blank. The game is well optimized, and the puzzles in it are not so difficult, interesting and very out of place. And of course, the storyline is amazing. I played this game for 2 and a half hours on the stream and it was a very good time. So I am extremely grateful to the author, whose games I have been following for a long time. They get better with every new project. It was cool. Thank you for your attention)
So there I was riffling through games for another horror sampler I drop in... and this was so much more polished and ambitious then I expected. I should of broken off and circled back. But I just had to see how it turned out and it honestly surprised me. Troupey yes but in that bright way that lets the story sneak up and bonk you over head with the good. I'll be keeping an eye out for your work. Keep it up. Incidentally is the sewer sequence a little homage to Lost in Vivo?
What an amazing game! It felt like a whole movie was going on and I was main character. The story was great, atmosphere was awesome and music amazing. The only thing I wished for was a save mechanic, since the game is quite big. The driving also felt a bit unnecessary. The rest though... phenomenal.
This game is so large, and so small. There is so much content with great voice-acting and progressive atmosphere, because of the game being longer than I initially expected, I had to make a series of parts for it. Even though, I love long-games and exploration. Not to mention the humor. Which is an absolute plus!
DUDE THIS GAME IS AMAZING MAN!!! I GOT SUPER HOOKED ON IT AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE STORY OF IT!! THE TWIST IS INSANE!! AWESOME GAME MY MAN!! I WISH I FOUND YOUR GAMES OUT SOONER!!! KEEP GOING MY BROTHER!!!
I'm about to start playing, but came to a sudden bug, and didn't want to forget to say something in my actual review of the game. I changed from windowed fullscreen to fullscreen, and it went windowed then back to fullscreen, but then I couldn't press anything and had to force close it. Its not a game breaking deal, but did suck. Gonna do an actual review after playing the game.
Ok... I couldn't press the back button in the options, after I accidently clicked options (it was like my mouse went too fast for the game, so I hovered over start game and pressed, but it acted like i was hovering over options instead....)
edit: Come to find out, my mouse has to be a few inches above any of the given options in order to click on it (so having my cursor on start acted like it was on options instead...)
edit #2: I was able to get to right after diving, and having to get a ladder to climb the fence. I clicked on the lock, and all of a sudden couldn't click on anything else, and had to force close it again...

Really liked the shopping list, this one was another good one with more features and a longer story. Keep up the good work
